So I've been rereading Girl Genius to catch up on it -- back last year sometime there were a couple of pages that were uncoloured due to something with Cheyenne, their colourist. The thing is, I have a really hard time reading Phil's art completely uncoloured. Well, okay -- if it was intended to be black-and-white, that's one thing. They tighten it up, and that makes it easier for me to follow what's going on.

Anyway, they still haven't gotten those pages coloured but I finally decided I was going to catch up anyway. But first, I needed to reread it because it's worth rereading periodically and also it's been like five months since I was reading it.

I've caught up!

And omg GIL. GIIIIIIL. Omg. Did -- what did the Baron actually do? Omg. GIL. Meeeeep.

(Normally I would flail about this elsewhere, but, you know, I've been rereading it at work and I really need to flail.)

Also, I still ship OT3. I mean, who reads the comic and doesn't, honestly? *waves her ship flag* I want it to be caaaaanon.

Aaaaaand I want Gil to be okay. Omg. GIL. meeeeeeep.

The FOGLIOS (or Kaja, at the least) ship OT3. So, uh. It kinda is?

(there's a link from one of the earlier comics expressing it rather nicely, but i cannot archive-fu at the moment. and i have other things to do this weekend, can't lose time to another binge. Crud.)

EDIT: OH WAIT! Here it is. I'm pretty sure the woman in the maroon dress is s'posed to be a Kaja self-insert.

Oh, I know the Foglios are aware of what they're doing! But them shipping it does not equate to it having shown up in the actual comic, is the thing -- that's a panel from the Cinderella side story that you've linked to. But it does give me hope! Because the Foglios DO know what they're doing omg yaaaaay pretty sure they're not just taunting us.

Just, yeah, I really just want Gil and Tarvek to kiss and make up in the comic! Actual kissing preferable. It's not like Gil and Agatha or Tarvek and Agatha aren't complicated as hell as pairings anyway! What's another complicated pairing in the mix? It might stabilise things! Also, you know. They're pretty. :D
