Hah! I have the regular talk with myself, whereupon I remind myself that these dudes (because LBR assumptions about dudes are usually true, that they have way more time and focus to spend on stuff like this) have built their brands and jobs around food, and specifically their position as learned if not experts on the subject thereof, so fuck no I'm not going to spend 3 of my precious weekend hours building a fucking tomato sauce for pasta when the people I'm cooking for would be fine with a jarred alternative.
