A couple of things worth noting: 1) the original recipe I was working from called for coconut milk, not cream, and I upped it to cream because I am cooking for particular dietary concerns! The final result as written is unsurprisingly quite rich, although not ungodly/miserably so. 2) This recipe would be excellent with any number of other proteins that aren't silken tofu (the original called for chicken!) and would also be entirely delightful over rice, as opposed to just A Soup.
