in other news, I'm not dead
I just haven't been using this journal, um. At all. I actually don't even use my other journals on dreamwidth much to post in, these days; I'm over on Twitter and Tumblr primarily, though I do still follow my droll assiduously.
I'm working at a resort hotel front desk these days, and going to school -- reviewing Calc II and taking Chem I. Chem I is so boring, oh my god, we just went over all this exact same shit in CHM130, what the hell. I keep hoping that eventually we're going to hit new material but I have a sinking feeling that's not going to happen until Chem II.
Calc II I am rocking, so far. But it's review, so I kind of should be! Math, though. I love math. It's beautiful and amazing and -- the language of the universe. It just. I can't even really put into words the enjoyment I get out of math, or how it sings in my bones. I like physics and theoretical chemistry, but I love the math that we use to describe the world best.
I could do without the liberal arts majors jokes, though. Heyo, some of us like the liberal arts too. I could never do a liberal arts major, it'd drive me around the twist, but I love media studies so could we just. Stop with the damn jokes! That'd be awesome.
